More and more time is being spent on digital devices through phones, tablets, laptops and increasingly smart TVs (CTV). The rub for agencies/brands is how to cut through the noise and competition to reach consumers, especially on smaller screens. As Nicholas Rossolillo explains on the Motley Fool, Digital Turbine (APPS) works directly with device and mobile manufacturers, becoming essential in helping ads and apps get in front of viewers. You can’t buy what you don’t know about, and ad tech/programmatic advertising will only continue to grow as marketers look toward the experts with proprietary access to this very valuable real estate. Digital Turbine is growing at a rapid pace and is relatively small at just under $8B cap. The recent pullback was a great opportunity to jump in, but we’re not too late as their revenue continues to ramp while the moat gets bigger.
“Success is going from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.” –Unknown (but a favorite quote of Motley Fool’s David Gardner)
