The fledgling programmatic ad services company Kubient (KBNT) had another stellar earnings report yesterday, showcasing a quarterly revenue of $1.1M (293% gain Y/Y). With a market cap of only $82M addressing a huge TAM (total addressable market), they look similar to a young Digital Turbine (APPS) back in 2013 which at that point had an almost identical market cap ($80M) and quarterly revenues ($1M). Then the inflection point kicked in… and today Digital Turbine’s market cap is $7.62B (95X growth since 2013). The pace of programmatic advertising adoption is happening fast and the pandemic is helping to accelerate it. Kubient may remain under the radar for a bit longer, but with growing partnerships that include esteemed companies like Google and the Associated Press, tech analysts will eventually put two and two together.
